Celtic Park has this afternoon began early preparations for next season, undergoing new renovations.
Well it’s the start of the stadium renovations. First up Celtic Park. Very important to use the correct implements on hybrid surfaces. 🌱🚜☀️⚽️ pic.twitter.com/b7poMojJiW

Last night was the Hoops final game of the season on the hallowed turf of Parkhead. So with the home fixtures being complete, pitch renovations started to get underway.
In the winter months of the year, pitches across the country are heavily affected by the poor weather we suffer in Scotland and this season the Celtic Park pitch looked to suffer in the same way.
Many fans were critical of the hybrid surface with it looking heavily affected in different patches across the pitch.
Of course, there isn’t much that can be done to escape the usually dreadful Scottish weather. However, you would hope that with the money we have spent in recent years on the ‘state of the art’ surface, you would hope it would hope up a lot better.
Fingers crossed when the pitch is finished its renovation works, fans will be able to see it in person again with spectators hopefully allowed in grounds by that point.
