Celtic Park Undergoes Makeover for Sunday Opener

CELTIC PARK is being readied for the first game of the season without supporters and it appears like the club have gone to the expense of adding banners to the ground much like we’ve seen in the Premier League.

We’re unsure how far the banners go around at the moment but a number nine can be seen going up around the standing section ahead of Sunday.

It will be a bizarre experience to see Celtic Park so empty for an official match but until supporters are allowed back into the grounds, banners instead of supporters will be the norm.

Celtic are going into a historic season and will hopefully have their support to call on at some point during the season. It all depends on how well Scotland cope with the virus in the weeks and months ahead.

Right now, we must watch from afar and hope the team can get the job done without us.
