Video: New Fan Chant Gets Brilliant Celtic Park Debut

It was a game with lots of little threads running through it. A place in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup was up for grabs, and Celtic made sure they were in the hat.

Above that, new Celtic striker Oh Hyeongyu got his first goal in Celtic colours, much to the delight of the striker, his teammates and the supporters inside the dressing room.

Coming on as a second-half sub, the player pounced on a spilt ball in the six-yard box and didn’t need a second invitation to hit the back of the net.

Celtic Park became unglued, and the White Stripes Seven Nation Army played over the tannoy – fans chanting to the tune ‘Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh’. As imaginative chants go, it certainly scores low, but it’s a crowd pleaser, with the whole stadium joining in.

Celtic ran out 5-1 winners with most of their goals coming late in the game. Oh’s goal made it three, but Matt O’Riley would get in on the act after him with two fantastic finishes.

Celtic wait to find out who they’ll face in the next round.
