Celtic Park Dressing Room Makeover Causes a Stir

Celtic kicked off their Scottish Premiership season in style on Sunday with an impressive 4-0 win over Kilmarnock.

Reo Hatate opened the scoring with a fine finish before Liam Scales nodded home the second. Nicolas Kuhn made it 3-0 just after the break while substitute Anthony Ralston added a fourth in stoppage time.

The Bhoys sit pretty at the top of the table and have looked impressive in both pre-season and the league this campaign.

There have been no notable changes to the team, but over the summer, the home changing room at Parkhead has been given a makeover.

Before kick-off on Sunday, Celtic posted a few photos of the dressing room, which looks totally different from the traditional, brown wooden set-up that was previously in place:

The area is now much more modern, and the slogans ‘Pride in the Badge’ and ‘World Class Basics’ are on display. Such phrases have gained some traction from Celtic fans on social media, who have poked fun at their somewhat cringeworthy nature.

If the new environment helps the team improve every so slightly this season, though, supporters won’t be complaining.
