Celtic Outcast Makes Provisional Squad – What’s Going On?

Celtic take on Livingston on Wednesday evening hoping to maintain their 12 point gap at the top of the SPFL. With the Ibrox club at home to bottom side Hamilton, the bhoys will likely need to rely on themselves to keep that gap going.

Neil Lennon has welcomed Elhamed back into the squad this month and the Israeli had made the provisional squad again for the Livi game. Bolingoli is there but could find himself cut and out of the entire squad as he has in recent games. It’s crazy to think Boli has gone from number one left-back to not getting in the squad at all. The defender regularly makes the provisional squad, but as we say, gets cut when the official matchday squad is announced.

Elyounoussi is also on the list. He picked up a knock during Celtic’s defeat to Copenhagen last week. Is he back and if he is then will Neil Lennon revert to one up top?

Here is the full squad as cited by RecordSport:

  • Forster
  • Frimpong
  • Bauer
  • Hayes
  • Ajer
  • Bolingoli
  • Taylor
  • Jullien
  • Bitton

  • Brown
  • McGregor
  • Rogic
  • Christie
  • Forrest
  • Elyounoussi
  • Edouard
  • Klimala
  • Griffiths
  • Elhamed
  • Bayo
