Celtic have endured a hugely successful 2022/23 season thus far under Ange Postecoglou.
The Bhoys secured the league cup at the end of February before clinching the title once more at the beginning of May.
The treble is well and truly on for the Parkhead club with a Scottish Cup final against Inverness due to take place next month.
After that, summer will arrive and that will be a season in which several happenings transpire for Celtic in the transfer market.
Players will arrive and depart alike and two who may fall into the latter category are James McCarthy and Liam Scales.
According to Sky Sports, Celtic are open to offers for the Irish duo.
McCarthy has made just five appearances in 2022/23 up to this point and has appeared out of favour throughout Ange Postecoglou’s tenure.
Scales, on the other hand, is currently out on loan at Aberdeen.
The defender has enjoyed a productive campaign in the Granite city, even scoring a ridiculous goal against Rangers in a 2-0 win for his side at the end of April.
Despite this, it appears his long term future lies away from his parent club.
Obviously, there is still a fair amount of dead wood that needs cleared at Celtic.
Scales and McCarthy fall into this category and this summer, it looks like the club won’t be against their departures.
