There have been rumours and speculation about what Scott’s going to do next. The fact his Aberdeen deal was cancelled 24 hours after Neil Lennon took a job in Cyprus has raised some eyebrows.
For the majority of Celtic fans, they’d like to see the Hoops hero back at the club in some capacity and if reports are to be believed – it’s not out of the question.
SunSports reports Celtic are leaving the door open for Scott Brown to make an emotional return to the club and would have a space for him in the academy and B team setup.
Right now, Ange has his first team squad, but Scott could certainly get his teeth into a role within Celtic and work his way up – much like Stephen McManus.
Celtic fans would love to see Broony back at the Hoops but ultimately, like when Scott moved to Aberdeen, he has to do what he thinks is best for him.
Brown’s former Hoops teammate Shaun Maloney is at Hibernian – which could be another route into coaching for the Celtic legend.
