Celtic Open Talks to Secure World Cup Star

Celtic are set to re-open talks with Dedryk Boyata’s representatives this week in a bid to secure the defender on a long term deal.

Talks last season didn’t go as planned with the Belgian keen to keep his options open until after the World Cup.

Now the tournament is over and the player is heading back to Celtic with a third place medal, both parties are ready to thrash out the Dedryk’s future.

The defender has one-year left on his deal and has spoken about playing in the English Premier League in the future.

However, the 27-year-old has also commented on how happy he is at the club.

The World Cup star is now on a two week break which is mandatory time off after not having any sort of holiday between last season and the World Cup starting.

By the time he gets back, the Belgians future should be sorted.
