Celtic have entered negotiations to sign Brøndby striker Mathias Kvistgaarden as Brendan Rodgers looks to bolster his attacking options before the transfer window closes on Monday.
The 22-year-old Danish forward has been on the Hoops’ radar for some time, and with Kyogo Furuhashi departing for Rennes in a £10m move this week, Celtic are moving to bring in reinforcements up front.

In the Champions League last night, it was clear how light Celtic were up top, with Daniel Cummings having to replace Adam Idah.
Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph has reported that Celtic have opened talks with the Danish Superliga side over a potential deal.
UPDATE: Celtic are in talks with Brondby over a possible deal for striker Mathias Kvistgaarden.
It’s understood the Danish club are holding out for a record fee in excess of £10m.

Further light has been shone on the potential fee elsewhere, with Brøndby holding out for a £14m fee, which would make Kvistgaarden Celtic’s most expensive-ever signings if a deal is struck.
With the window entering its final days, Rodgers is keen to add attacking depth alongside Adam Idah, who has led the line in recent matches. The Hoops boss is also working on securing Kieran Tierney’s return on loan from Arsenal before the deadline.
They could also turn to Tyrell Malacia for a short-term option if they can not get Kieran Tierney in on loan until the end of the season. The Arsenal left-back will join the Hoops in the summer, signing a pre-contract agreement.
