Celtic on Collision Course with SFA

CELTIC are reportedly on a collision course with the SFA after Stewart Regan signed Scotland up for two international friendlies in the close season.

Scotland’s friendlies are booked for May 29th and June 2nd. The first Friendly coming only ten days after the Scottish Cup final.

With Celtic having to play FOUR qualifiers this year, Brendan Rodgers wants his players back in the second week of June to start preparing for a gruelling qualification process.

These friendlies could not come at a worse time for Celtic and the fact that the club were not even consulted about the needless trip away when a large proportion of the Scotland squad will be made up of Celtic stars.

Celtic will now seeks answers from the under fire Regan. It’s an absolute farce, and even if Celtic players get an exemption from the two friendlies to continue their short summer rest then it will look like a waste of time for Scotland and any new manager in place at the time.

The SFA and Regan are totally clueless.
