Celtic have sent out their stars for international duty, hoping they all remain safe and come back with no issues.

It would be a welcome change to the carnage of the last international break where we lost four players due to the pandemic.

However, things haven’t even got going yet and we’re already hearing of positive tests from one international camp.

Israel National Team captain Bibras Natcho has gone into quarantine (tested negative for COVID-19) at the behest of the Norwegian officials as he had been with Monas Dabbur who tested positive for COVID-19.

The Israel team have had one positive case with another self-isolating after Norway requested the player not play against them in case he infects any of their players.

That’s where the fear comes in; Nir Bitton and Hatem Elhamed have already tested positive recently so they should hopefully have the antibodies to stay healthy this time around.

BUT, if any of the Israel players outwith the two isolating test positive in the coming days AFTER the game against Norway, it could have implications for Moi Elyounoussi if he gets onto the field. No word yet if Ajer will play in the game due to injury,

International breaks at the moment are crazy for footballers heading out to play for their countries.

We can only hope the bhoys come back and are being overly cautious.

There’s also been a positive case in the Ireland camp but it isn’t Shane Duffy.
