Celtic have announced a significant discount for supporters planning to use the club’s pay-per-view service for the upcoming clash against Dundee United.

The decision comes after fans who purchased the £12.99 PPV for Sunday’s match against St Mirren were left frustrated due to broadcast issues caused by a power outage in the Parkhead area.
In a gesture of goodwill, the club has halved the PPV price for Wednesday night’s game, offering fans the chance to watch the action for just £5.99. Celtic TV subscribers in the UK and Ireland will receive an even further reduced rate of £4.99, which will be applied automatically at checkout.

Sunday’s match against St Mirren at Celtic Park was briefly plunged into darkness due to a power outage in the wider Parkhead area. Although the floodlights were restored swiftly, Celtic TV’s live broadcast was significantly disrupted, leaving viewers without picture for the second half.
The outage, which was entirely outside the club’s control, impacted many fans who had purchased the PPV option to follow the league leaders’ 3-0 victory over the Buddies.
The match against Jim Goodwin’s Dundee United provides an opportunity for Celtic to maintain their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Following their 3-0 win over St Mirren and a resounding response to last week’s derby loss, Brendan Rodgers’ side will be eager to build on their momentum.
