Celtic Must Prepare for Major Ibrox Flashpoint

John Kennedy must have a plan B and C against the home side this afternoon if he wants to ensure his side can come out on top.

It was evident from our last trip to Ibrox we were ill prepared for a man being sent off.

Brendan Rodgers famously told how his side had trained with ten men in the run up to the game they ended up winning 3-2 even though Jozo Simunovic got his marching orders.

There can be no doubt a referee will not hesitate to send off a Celtic player if the opportunity presents itself.

Celtic need to be prepared for that eventuality and find a way to bounce back. We must be proactive and not reactive.

The game is a chance for Celtic to earn a bit of redemption in a season where they’ve offered very little. John Kennedy has them playing better but can they mentally get themselves right to win the game.

We’ll find out soon enough.
