Motherwell chief executive Alan Burrows has thrown down the gauntlet to Celtic or anyone else for that matter who wants to sign their star midfielder David Turnbull.
Burrows has taken to social media to make note that they won’t entertain any offers below their record fee already received for a player which currently stands at £1.75m.
Reports from MailSport claim Neil Lennon wants Turnbull to be one of his first signings as Celtic boss with the club reportedly willing to offer £1.2m for the player.
However, it will take much more than that to tempt the Steelmen.

Turnbull has had a standout season for the Fir Park outfit scoring 16 goals and assisting in 7. There are more than a few clubs interested in his services. Should Celtic learn lessons from John McGinn last summer, they should have this done and dusted quickly to avoid a repeat of last season’s debacle.
