Celtic have been linked with a move for Omar Colley over the past six months.
The Gambian international had fallen out of favour earlier in the season with Sampdoria but since then has started the last seven games for the Italian side.
Colley was part of the recent Sampdoria side which beat Inter Milan 2-1 and is enjoying a renaissance at the heart of their defence.
But, is he still available for transfer?
The Athletic report Omar is subject to interest from Fenerbahce and Sheffield Utd with both eyeing an initial loan move for the centre-back.
There’s been no word yet this month if Celtic are still considering a move for the Serie A defender. The money Celtic were quoted in the summer was out with our budget.
RecordSport reported late last year the player was in no rush to sign any news deal at Sampdoria and could be tempted by a move.
Celtic are desperate for a high calibre centre-back but have yet to make headway in bringing someone in.

Nicky Hammond watched Declan Gallagher on Saturday against St Mirren, perhaps the club are heading down the bargain basement route.
TransferMarkt have the defender pegged at £4.05m, surely, it’s worth a call.
