Celtic take on Atletico in matchday four of the Champions league this evening in what promises to be a hotly contested affair.
Going into the game key players were rested such as Alistair Johnston, Kyogo and Matt O’Riley to ensure they are in tip top shape for the match in Madrid.
However it’s still going to be an uphill battle for the bhoys to take anything from the game. They almost caused a shock at Celtic Park but it’s going to be much more difficult in Spain,
There aren’t any new injuries from the weekend so the team is in good shape. The two notable longterm absentees are Reo Hatate and Liel Abada. Two men who if they were fit would likely start the game.
However, the bhoys go on without them and this is the team Brendan Rodgers has chosen to cause an upset.

Bernardo gets the nod over Turnbull who has scored in the last two games for Celtic. Lagerbielke has reappeared on the bench also. The starting XI apart from Bernardo chose itself. Turnbull will feel aggrieved he’s not made the cut and has dropped out of the starting XI given his contribution since coming into the side. He’s scored five goals already this season with not that many appearances!
Let’s hope the bhoys can get a result.
