Celtic Make Their Move – Parkhead Source Confirms Club’s Intentions

CELTIC have reportedly sent a message to all their players to get ready in case football can restart.

At this moment, there are about eight players who travelled back to their home countries before lockdown. However, RecordSport report these players have now got the message to begin to make plans to return. This is hastened by the new two-week isolation plan for the UK, where anyone coming into the country will have to isolate for a fortnight before being allowed to leave their home.

A Celtic source said: ”The players who have returned home will be back in Scotland before the end of next week. There are issues to work through before the game starts back but it’s vital Neil Lennon’s squad is ready.”

Celtic have no idea if the game can be restarted, but they must be in a position to be able to call upon players if there’s a chance.

Tom Rogic will have the furthest to travel while it’s unclear if the club will make Daniel Arzani make the trip considering his loan deal runs out shortly.

The Scottish Cup final should have been last weekend and the league would be wrapping up in the coming weeks. We should find out a lot more this week about where Scottish football stands.

Celtic have been going about their business in a professional manner during the shutdown and this is just another example of it.
