While Celtic and the support concentrate on the Glasgow Derby that could define where the league title sits at the end of the season, the club are still making plans behind the scenes for the special legends game.

Celtic legends will take on Dortmund legends at Celtic Park a day after the Scottish Cup final. Scott Brown will be back in the Hoops for the special game and by the day, there’s a who’s who of former Celtic players joining him for the event.

Today, the club has confirmed former cult hero Georgios Samaras will be retuning to Celtic Park to play in the tie.

Guys like Joe Ledley and Mikael Lustig are also confirmed for the game which promises to be a fun event for those in attendance.

Samaras was at Celtic from 2008 until 2014, where he became a fan favourite. The striker was always a topic of conversation due to his lack of consistency but clear quality on the days he did hit the mark. the big man won 4 league titles, 2 Scottish cups and a League cup.
