FIFA as we know it will cease to exist after this season, with EA losing the naming rights for the video game.
In the rebranded EA Sports FC, major leagues and competitions will remain in it, with Celtic confirming that they’ll be part of the game.

Celtic, along with EA, have said that more information will be released in due course, with official announcements to follow in July.
It’s the next chapter in football video games, and a lot of fans are excited to see what EA can do with the game, with FIFA not hitting the heights it once did.
Celtic were heavily involved in the launch of FIFA 23, but it’s been a letdown so far, it’s fair to say. It took eight months for a Celtic item to launch in the game, with the Lisbon Lion shirts available on Ultimate Team.

Fans are expecting EA to take it a few steps further this year, with many crying out for the addition of Celtic Park to the game instead of Eastpoint Arena, the stadium currently assigned as the Hoops’ home turf.
