Celtic have confirmed that their allocation for this weekend’s Scottish Cup Final against Aberdeen has officially sold out.
The Hampden showdown, which could see Brendan Rodgers’ side complete a domestic treble, is set to be played in front of a full house. Despite the club releasing a final batch of just 500 tickets last week, hopes remained high among the 12,000 supporters on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme still awaiting allocation. However, those hopes were dashed on Monday as the club confirmed that all tickets had now been snapped up.

Celtic were handed just over 20,000 briefs for the final, with the SFA and SPFL opting for a 50/50 split between the two clubs.
The limited allocation has led to frustration from many supporters who feel let down by the system, especially after committing to the season-long ticket scheme and attending all of the prior cup matches. The demand to be inside Hampden for what could be a historic day was always going to be sky-high, but Monday’s news has left many disappointed.
On the park, Celtic go into the final aiming to lift their third piece of silverware this season. With the League Cup already secured in December and the Premiership title wrapped up, the Cup Final offers Rodgers a chance to complete his third treble as Celtic boss.
A packed Hampden awaits, with tickets now completely gone. For the thousands without one, the hope is that the players give them something to celebrate regardless.
