Celtic Looking to Stay Top – What You Need to Know

CELTIC take on St Mirren for the first time this season at Celtic Park on a cold Octobers night.

The bhoys are top of the league having scored three more goaLs than their closest rivals. That’s why not only winning but winning well is essential for the bhoys.

We took a look at the head to head last season and as you would expect – Celtic have not been beat by St Mirren but they did manage to take points off the Scottish Champions in paisley last September under Brendan Rodgers when they capitalised on the bhoys poor away form at the start of the season.

Their next two outings would be after the turn of the year with Celtic winning both; scoring six and conceding zero.

Jim Goodwin will look to frustrate Neil Lennon’s men this evening but as we’ve seen – when Celtic have the bit between their teeth all bets are off.

The game kicks off at 19:45 and is not on TV.
