Celtic will seek revenge tonight in their SPFL clash with Hearts at Celtic Park. Charly Musonda could make his Celtic debut after he signed an 18-month loan deal only yesterday.
It was Hearts who ended Celtic’s invincible 69th game domestic unbeaten run back in December. The Jambo’s stunned everyone with their 4-0 win at Tynecastle. Celtic will be out for revenge this evening as they look to continue their winning start to 2018.
As Celtic injury problems mount up just as the transfer window is ready to close we know Celtic will be without some key figures tonight. The list is long with Craig Gordon, Leigh Griffiths, Marvin Comper, Jonny Hayes, Patrick Roberts, Stuart Armstrong, Mikey Johnston, Anthony Ralston and Tom Rogic all out.
That could give Musonda the perfect chance to jump in at the deep end tonight. Dare we say Celtic’s defence seems to have improved since their Tynecastle defeat and they will need to perform to instill some confidence in Dorus de Vries.
Celtic have a cushion of 11 points in the league but revenge will be high on the agenda tonight. The Celtic players will want to prove that Hearts caught them on a bad day and that Craig Levein does not have a template to beat the Hoops.
Will Musonda start?
