Luis Palma’s time at Olympiacos appears to be coming to an end, with the Honduran winger likely to return to Celtic this summer.
After joining the Greek club on loan in January, Palma hoped for a fresh start after struggling to make an impact at Celtic, where he had only one league start until January. Unfortunately, his time in Greece hasn’t gone much better.

He has only started two league games, which shows how tough it’s been for him to get regular playing time.
Olympiacos manager José Luis Mendilibar has hinted that Palma will not be staying in Greece beyond this season. With a £3.5 million option to buy included in his loan deal, suggesting that the club doesn’t see Palma as part of their long-term plans.
The Spaniard confirmed that he’s already decided which players will stay and which will leave, and it seems Palma is not in his future plans.
He said: (Glasgow Times),”I have already made my decisions about the players who will stay and who will go at the end of the season.
“And it will be very difficult for them to change my mind in the remaining games of the season.”

Whether Luis Palma has a future at Celtic remains uncertain, especially with Jota’s arrival in January and both Daizen Maeda and James Forrest starting in recent games.
Given the competition for places, it seems unlikely that Palma will have any role in the squad moving forward next season.
