Celtic loan star Jonathan Afolabi has scored his first goal for Dunfermline in the Championship.
The Irish under 21 star was signed by Celtic in the summer before being loaned out in January.
Dunfermline were up against Dundee Utd today and weren’t given a chance in the game. Dundee Utd are dominating the Championship and are heading back to the SPFL barring a massive collapse. However, Dunfermline pulled off a win with the help of Afalobi who got the all important second.
This is the sort of result that could give Dunfermline a shot in the arm. If they can put a run of wins together they could make a dash for the playoffs.

Afolabi has a big upside, there’s a good chance he’ll come back to Celtic in the summer and get a chance to make the first team squad. More goals for Dunfermline will do his confidence the world of good.
