KUNDAI BENYU was an unused substitute last night for Oldham as they fell to another loss, this time to Shrewsbury in the Football League Trophy quarter-final.

The midfielder found himself on the bench for his loan club after a 3-0 loss to Peterborough at the weekend where he started the match.

Kundai has featured a lot for Oldham so far before last nights unused sub appearance. The hope is the player can get first team football in the coming months and not only improve himself but the fortunes of Oldham.

Fans were initially impressed by Kundai but some down south are feeling the youngster may be a luxury as they fight the drop.

Oldham are back in action on Saturday, maybe Kundai will find himself back in the side.
