CELTIC youngster Kundai Benyu’s loan move to Oldham looks dead in the water at the moment, with the midfielder seeing no game time since early January.
The hope was Kundai would head out to get much needed first team football, but after a handful of games the youngster was demoted to the bench and hasn’t moved off it – only starting two games since arriving.
Kundai was a spectator again yesterday as his loan side managed a credible draw against Tony Mowbray’s Blackburn.
Oldham are just outside the relegation zone and are fighting for their League One survival. Manager Richie Wellens doesn’t seem to be keen on using the Celtic player.
At this rate, the loan move looks like a waste of time when he could have been playing for the developmental side.
