Former Celtic loanee Diego Laxalt is reportedly set to depart his parent club after having a medical with Dynamo Moscow.
The Uruguayan left-back spent last season on loan in Glasgow with Celtic after signing on the summer deadline day from Serie A side AC Milan.
However, it was quite clear he didn’t do enough to earn a permanent move to the Hoops and, as reported by MilanNews, now finds himself heading for the exit door in Milan, with a deal close to being made with Dynamo Moscow.
Laxalt got off to a decent enough start at the club, from a personal point of view. Despite a run of poor results, the 28-year old was arguably a stand out at that point, with the game away to Lille coming to mind.
It went downhill from that point forwards, though, with several extremely poor performances, which saw him fall behind in the pecking order to Greg Taylor at the end of last season.
Now, it looks as though Laxalt will be playing Russian Football going into the next campaign, securing himself another move away from the Milan giants. This time, on a permanent basis.
