Jack Hendry has sent out a simple but admirable message after the player has been praised for his contributions for Oostende thus far.

In the four games Jack has started for the Belgian’s, they have come out on top. Three clean sheets into the bargain has led to Jack being an instant hit.

After a couple of years playing backup at Celtic and some unfortunate injuries, the defender seems be enjoying himself.

So far, Hendry has shown you don’t have to stay on these shores to make an impact and right now, it looks as if he’s made a great call in heading out to Belgium.

There’s no telling what will happen in the future but you never know. The experience could be the making of the Scottish centre-back.
