There has been rumours for weeks that won’t go away, and tonight, it would appear Celtic are very keen on USA centre-back Mark McKenzie.
Celtic are in the market for another centre-back even after they landed Shane Duffy this week. Mark would fit right into Celtic’s style of signing; young and hungry who can be coached and sold on down the toad for a big fee.
Ironically, he may be replacing a defender who Celtic brought in, coached and now could sell for a big profit in Kristoffer Ajer.

There’s still a month to go in the transfer window and we as Celtic fans know nothing is off limits when it comes to our squad. There will be an anxious wait to see who is here at the end of the window.
McKenzie could be a top acquisition and a more natural replacement for Ajer.
