Ryan Sessegnon is set to become a free agent this summer after being released by manager Ange Postecoglou.

The 24-year-old’s tenure at Spurs has been plagued by persistent injury issues.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, despite the interest Sessegnon has garnered from clubs across England and Europe, his preference remains to continue his career in the Premier League.
Celtic has been linked with Sessegnon, especially during the summer of 2020 when Celtic’s interest in bolstering their left-back options with his acquisition was noted. However, given his recent injury history, Celtic might view a move for Sessegnon as a high-risk venture.
Currently, Celtic’s left-back position is thinly staffed with Greg Taylor as the sole senior player in that role, as Bernabei is out on loan until the end of the year.
Sessegnon feels like a Brendan Rodgers signing and he would certainly add quality to the left-back role.
It will be interesting to see if Celtic try to make any more for the player this summer.
