Out of work since his departure from Fleetwood in September, Celtic legend Scott Brown is eager to get back into management.
The quadruple treble-winning gaffer did well in his first year down South but his second didn’t go as planned. Indeed former Hibs gaffer Lee Johnson was the man who replaced Brown in the Cods’ dugout.
Looking ahead, the ex-Scotland internationalist is aiming to bounce back and find a new role. He said (Scottish Cup on YouTube): “I’m getting itchy feet now. It’s been good to have some family time and see the kids growing up – I’ve been away the past couple of years. But now it’s getting back to the stage where I’m looking to get back into that routine.”

Someone of Brown’s pedigree will not be short of potential suitors. He may not be in line for a top-level job, but there are plenty of clubs who wouldn’t turn their nose up at appointing the 38-year-old.
From a Celtic perspective, it will be hoped he exceeds wherever he ends up. Brown was a true fan-favourite in Glasgow, and many supporters believe that one day he is destined for the Parkhead dugout.
