As transfer season begins, Celtic fans are debating which positions should be strengthened this summer.
Goalkeeper is an obvious pick, but there are a few other areas that need looking at, left-back being one.
Greg Taylor is a steady operator and has been for the past few years. The Scotland international is ever-reliable, but supporters demand a bit more quality.

One option that may bring such calibre could come from within. Captain of the Hoops’ B team in the 2022/23 campaign, young Matthew Anderson just completed his first full season in the senior game with Admira Wacker out in Austria.
Playing in the country’s second tier, the left-back made 21 appearances, registering six assists and scoring once along the way.
It was a hugely productive campaign for the 20-year-old who made it into the Team of the Season in the Austrian second tier for his performances.
After international duty with Scotland under-21s, Anderson will head back to Celtic for pre-season, where he anticipates a judgement call from Brendan Rodgers.
He said: (RecordSport) “The plan for me is to go back and report for pre-season with Celtic. Maybe the manager will have a look at me and let me know if he feels whether I should have another loan or not.
“I’m not looking too far ahead. I’ll just go with the flow.”
In producing talented full-backs, Celtic has a prosperous history, at least in recent times. Now a respected first-team member, Anthony Ralston came through the academy ranks much like Kieran Tierney.
The Real Sociedad loanee came to the fore in Rodgers’ first spell, and perhaps his fellow left-back Anderson can follow in his footsteps going into 2024/25.
