The leaked document doing the rounds on social media about Celtic’s transfers COULD be real with SunSport reporting the club are opening an investigation into the document appearing online.
The paper writes:
“CELTIC have launched a top-level probe after an explosive summer transfer dossier was leaked online.
“The stolen document was circulated on fan forums and social media and appears to list key targets for the Hoops.
“Raging Hoops chiefs were last night probing its release ahead of a hectic period of transfer activity.
“Boss Neil Lennon, who is on holiday, and Parkhead supremo Peter Lawwell were both made aware of the breach last night.”
If this has turned out to be the case then there has been a major Celtic Park security breach. The documents appeared online yesterday evening and while we reported on them we never imagined they were legit with such sensitive information on show.
This could throw Celtic’s summer plans up in the air for the minute.
Neil Lennon is in the process of trying to secure targets for the upcoming season. The bhoys look to freshen up their treble treble winning side. This would be a major speed bump with anyone who has access to social media being able to see potential targets.
Celtic haven’t confirmed any breach yet or the legitimacy of the document and we’re just going off what has been reported to this point.
