‘Come On’ – Kris Boyd in Face Saving Celtic Response Live on Air

KRIS BOYD claimed on live TV [SkySports] on Wednesday night that he isn’t worried about Celtic after fellow pundit James McFadden goaded him into an answer.

Boyd and McFadden just watched Celtic dismantle Hibernian at Easter Road when thoughts naturally turned to the next game, which happens to be the Glasgow Derby.

McFadden smiled and turned to Boyd during the post-match rundown, asking: “Are you worried already?”

Boyd, who looked to be putting on a brave face, proclaimed: “I’m not worried, come on!”

Celtic go to Ibrox in good form and nine points ahead of their rivals. The bhoys already own a 4-0 victory over them this season. They also own a victory at Ibrox, the last time they visited.

Celtic are in great shape for the game and know they can play their football at Ibrox.

There was no way Boyd would concede any ground to Celtic fan McFadden during the Sky sports broadcast. However, if he’s not worried, then he’s kidding himself.

The bhoys will be taking nothing for granted, but going into the game, you would 100% want to be in Celtic’s position, and if the shoe or brogue were on the other foot, I’d be worried.

It promises to be another great occasion where Ange can really see what his team can do in front of a hostile atmosphere.
