Celtic have been keeping tabs on Polish star Jakub Kaluzinski but a potential deal could be off the table after Real Valladolid tabled an offer.

The 21-year-old midfielder, currently with Antalyaspor in Turkey, has been on Celtic’s radar for over a year, tracing back to his time at Legia Gdańsk.
Despite Celtic’s interest reports from Turkey, via Football Scotland, indicate that Valladolid has made a concrete bid for Kaluzinski. The Spanish club’s offer could sway the young talent, given the appeal of competing in La Liga.
Kaluzinski, valued at around £3.5 million, has reportedly not had recent contact with Celtic beyond discussions over terms more than a week ago.
There could be scope to hijack the deal, though, yet, Football Scotland doesn’t suggest this is in the works. Valladolid is just newly promoted to La Liga, but this doesn’t seem to be putting Kaluzinski off, despite Celtic being able to offer at least eight Champions League matches next season.
These transfer links come amid reports that Celtic are still working on a deal to bring Bernardo to Glasgow permanently for a cut-price deal.
