Brendan Rodgers is looking to add a third striker to the ranks at Celtic after Rocco Vata left the Hoops earlier in the summer window.

Celtic is reportedly keeping a close eye on Aaron Connolly, the Irish striker currently a free agent after his stint with Hull City, reports Football Scotland.
With the transfer deadline fast approaching, Brendan Rodgers is keen to deepen his attacking options, and Connolly, with his recent track record, presents an intriguing possibility.
Last season, Connolly impressed with eight goals in 30 appearances across all competitions for Hull, showcasing his potential to add value up front for Celtic. At 24 years old and capped nine times by the Republic of Ireland, his experience both internationally and in clubs like Brighton, Middlesbrough, and Luton Town further bolsters his profile.
However, Celtic isn’t the only club with eyes on Connolly. He has garnered interest from several teams in England, and there was significant attention from MLS clubs before their transfer window closed.
