Hundreds if not thousands of people appear to be locked out of Celtic’s first virtual season ticket trial this afternoon.

We understand there’s teething problems with these things BUT a sizeable amount of people including writers on this site are sitting looking at a loading screen since before kick off.

I had the feed up nice and early but when it froze just before kick off, I hit the refresh, only to be signed out and with two goals out in the back of the net, I’ve still to see anything.

This has to be the amount of people watching and the servers inability to handle the size of the task at hand.

Celtic have confirmed they’re looking at technical issues but with seven days until the new season starts – this doesn’t inspire confidence and it’s pretty embarrassing.
