He’s predominantly a left winger but can play in the attacking midfielder role and just off the striker.
Since joining the German second-tier side in the summer, he has four goals and two assists in 15 appearances.
The 24-year-old doesn’t seem to match Brendan Rodgers’ description of ‘quality’ and ‘experience’, it has to be said.
It will certainly be an interesting move if it does surface. Celtic currently have Palma, Maeda and Yang who can all play on the left wing and are fairly stacked in midfield.
Mikey Johnston is also at the club and is included in the Champions League squad.
