Confirmed: Celtic Injury Blow Ahead of Glasgow Derby

Celtic Manager ANGE POSTECOGLOU has confirmed one injury blow ahead of the Glasgow derby on Monday afternoon.

The Hoops manager was speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the New Year’s tie and revealed his winger Sead Haksabanovic will NOT make it in time for the clash at Ibrox.

Sead had not featured much since the World Cup due to niggling injuries. Speaking to Sky, Ange confirmed the club conducted a scan to get to the bottom of Sead’s injury woes. While the Parkhead star will miss the game at Ibrox, Ange Postecoglou doesn’t expect him to be out for a long period of time.

The Bhoys go into the game nine points ahead of their rivals. The Hoops have been in great form since returning from the World Cup and could take a massive step towards retaining their title with a win at Ibrox.

The Celtic gaffer is taking nothing for granted and knows his side will have to be at their best to beat a determined and dogged home side that will have the majority of the stadium behind them.

If Celtic can get into their own rhythm and play their football, the result will come.
