Coming into this weekends game, Celtic have suffered all sorts of injury problems especially defensively.
So when the official Celtic Twitter account tweeted out that defender Kristoffer Ajer will be missing in action for tomorrow’s game against Hibs, it left some fans a little concerned.
It looks as though that the quote was misheard and was about Ajer’s fellow defender, Christopher Jullien, as reported by the Cynic press conference audio, with the tweet also being deleted.
The thing that most fans were concerned about was as to why Ajer was then allowed to go out on international duty if he had an injury but now it looks as though he should be available for selection for tomorrow afternoon’s fixture.
Of course, this still leaves us without Jullien but at the same time, we will have the boost of both being available for selection alongside Nir Bitton and Shane Duffy going forward, leaving manager Neil Lennon at full strength in terms of defensive numbers.
