Celtic in Line for Major Cash Boost This Summer – reports

MOUSSA DEMBELE has been at Lyon for two years but there might not be a third after the league was called early and Lyon were outside the Champions League places.

With no Champions League money next season for the French side and the striker’s burning desire to play at the top level – it could be time for the former Celtic player to move on.

The Manchester Evening News claims Dembele could be on his way to Old Trafford.

If he does move on this summer, then Celtic would be in line for a percentage of the fee Lyon manage to get for Moussa.

Celtic put a clause in all the deals of the players they sell on for big money. Moussa went for £20million but if the market holds up after the shutdown – he could go for three times that amount. According to RecordSport, it’s a profit clause and the club would get a certain percentage of Lyon’s profit from the transfer.

Celtic landing a massive transfer bonus from any deal would give the clubs coffers a shot in the arm after such a difficult period.

There’s no telling how the transfer market might look after this. Clubs will have to seriously consider how they do business going forward when all is said and done.
