Celtic may be in line for a welcome financial boost as reports suggest former right-back Josip Juranović is drawing interest from Premier League clubs.

Croatia international Juranović left Parkhead in January 2023 for Union Berlin in a deal worth £7.5 million. The right-back is being targeted by Fulham and Burnley, the Glasgow Times reports.
Celtic’s sale of Juranovic is reported to have included a sell-on clause that they will profit from if he does get the move.
Juranovic was signed by Celtic from Legia Warsaw for £2.5 million in 2021, so any additional profit added to the already £5 million made would be great business.
This comes as no surprise as Celtic often reap the rewards of their sell-on clauses with Jeremy Frimpong’s move to Liverpool being the most recent windfall.
If a transfer does come to fruition it would be great timing, given the need to strengthen the squad with the new season right around the corner.
The club’s recruitment strategy has been cautious this summer, drawing criticism over a slow start. A tidy return from Juranović could shift that dynamic.
It’s not quite the same as a blockbuster arrival, but if Juranović makes a big move, Celtic might be one step closer to getting some business done at the other end.
