Celtic Hit Reported Major Stumbling Block in Manager Pursuit

The Herald are claiming Celtic’s pursuit of Ange Postecoglou has hit a major stumbling block.

According to reports, Ange doesn’t have the proper UEFA badges to take charge of a club in Europe at present.

Celtic must believe there’s a way around this or they wouldn’t be pursuing the Australian to begin with.

The Hoops saw their three month pursuit of Eddie Howe come to a calamitous end and they can’t afford another setback.

A new Celtic manager should be installed by now and the bhoys are due back for ore season half way through June.

It’s all a bit of a shambles.

If Ange is the man, the club must be working out the details so the coach can move to Glasgow and take his badges.

The club have said nothing about the next manager since Friday and all the hype surrounding Ange’s appointment has come from the press.
