Chris Sutton has mocked Charlie Nicholas after comments from Nicholas were highlighted online with regards to Steven Gerrard.
BT Sports pundit Chris Sutton claimed Gerrard would most definitely leave the Ibrox club for Aston Villa before it came to fruition.
Nicholas couldn’t believe Sutton‘s point of view and asked if he was serious during one of his columns.
Chris is always up for a good wind up and he was clearly happy to show he was more than correct on this matter.
As soon as it became apparent Villa wanted the Ibrox boss, he was on a train out of Glasgow and his poster board outside Ibrox was taken down.
Nicholas has lost a lot of steam as a pundit over the last few years. His exit from Sky Sports giving way to more outspoken points of view in other forms of media to stay relevant.
Trying to be as argumentative as possible when it’s clear his point of view is out of touch more often than not.
