PLZ SOCCER pundit Tam McManus believes that Celtic’s quality will shine through on Sunday in the League Cup Final.

The former Hibs man has also stated that Celtic will win, because they have a better manager and a better group of players.
It’s a claim that should have minimal objection; Beale is new to management and has yet to prove himself, whereas Postecoglou has bags of experience winning leagues and cups.
The Celtic squad has been thriving since Postecoglou brought them together, winning the double this season, leading the league this season, and looking to retain their League Cup.
As quoted by Football Scotland, Tam McManus said:
“Rangers made the change at the right time because it was a club going nowhere under Van Bronckhorst.
“They were dropping too many silly points, especially against lower teams in Scottish football.
“A change had to be made and Michael Beale has come in and they’ve got their mojo back.
“You can tell that by their results and performances – particularly their performance against Celtic at Ibrox.
“Rangers were the better team, over the piece, and probably should’ve won the game.
“That will give them encouragement for the final but I still think Celtic are favourites.
“I think Celtic have a better manager and a better squad.
“It’s a final and anything can happen. If Rangers turn up and play really well then they’ve every chance to win the cup.
“I don’t think there’s a massive gap between the two teams.”
Beale has done a decent job so far, but he’s not given Celtic fans a reason to be fearful of him or his side just yet. The Rangers have got quite lucky on a few occasions since the Englishman took charge, with a number of substandard performances.
