Journalist/scout Richard Wilson has claimed Celtic have spoken to intermediaries about possibly signing Croatian winger Kristijan Lovric.
The 25-year-old is a left-winger, a position in the squad Celtic badly need cover.
Lovric is an exciting winger, currently playing for HNK Gorica – the winger has scored 44 goals and made 23 assists in just 96 appearances for the club.
As a result, his transfer valuation has shot up since Gorica signed him back in 2018.
Transfermarkt has the player’s transfer value sitting at £5.4m at present.
Richard Wilson is claiming Celtic could grab Lovric for £5m.
Celtic News
Celtic have spoken via intermediaries re a deal for Kristijan Lovric (that’s been on the cards for ages) but have expressly stated the basis that they will pay £5m (£1m above the asking price) if Gorica will hang on to see if Celtic advance in Europe and afford that

Celtic have lost Moi Elyounoussi and Mikey Johnston went off injured against Bristol City on Wednesday night. Given Mikey’s history with injuries, we need a new left winger in as soon as possible.
Lovric ticks a lot of boxes and would be an exciting signing if the club manages to pull it off.
They have already got Liel Abada on the right who can provide pace and energy, if they get Lovric too, we have a winger on each side who can score goals.
