Celtic have been linked with Aaron Hickey far too much throughout his young career already and that’s taking into account we had him signed up twice and let him go twice!
Hickey was a former Celtic academy player but decided to go forge his path elsewhere to get noticed. It worked a treat because Celtic haven’t stopped looking at him ever since.
The left back impressed with Hearts and had Celtic chasing him two seasons ago before the defender opted to head to Serie A with Bologna, a brave move for any young player.
Today, it’s being reported Celtic have again come back in for Aaron Hickey and are offering €3.5m to bring him back to Glasgow.
A sports journalist has claimed the club have made the bid on his social media.
#Celtic are interested in left fullback Aaron #Hickey. Offered €3,5M to #Bologna. #transfers

Hickey is a Celtic fan and has talked in the past about one day playing for Celtic. The timing has never been right and to be honest, if he stayed in our system he would have likely been lost to it.
He made the right decision at the time but now, if this bid is true, coming in for decent money at a time where the left back position is up for grabs, could now be the time?
