Celtic Given Massive Boost Ahead of Crunch Tie

TOM ROGIC is set to give Brendan Rodgers and Celtic fans a major boost ahead of Celtic’s massive game against Hibernian at the weekend.

The Australian has been away on international duty and playing for the Socceroos has always presented some logistical issues which would see Tom sit out Celtic’s next game after the international break.

However, after starring in Kuwait and getting a full 90 minutes on Monday night, the Celtic star is set to return to Lennoxtown on Wednesday to prepare for Saturday’s crunch tie.

Even though the flight home can be pretty gruelling, Tom is used to it and is set to tell the manager he’ll be ready for Neil Lennon’s men after putting on a masterclass in Perth two weeks ago.

Tom Rogic may not have got on the scoresheet during Celtic’s 6-0 rout of St Johnstone, but he was very much an integral part of how the won so convincingly.

Having played a game on Monday and three days of training under his belt by Saturday, it’s almost a certain start for Rogic unless Rodgers is going to change things up.
