Celtic Get Thumbs Up from Real Betis

URFA announced on Monday travelling away supporters would be allowed for the forthcoming club competitions this season.

The Champions, Europa and Conference league can all allow for away supporters so long as local laws allow it.

Celtic fans were delighted to hear European away days were on the way back but still had to wait to see if there were going to be briefs coming their way. Eight days away from the tie in Spain, Real Betis have confirmed Celtic WILL have an allocation and now the club is looking to quickly turn around the tickets.

We still have to wait and see if Bayer Leverkusen and Ferencvaros can follow suit.

It will be the first proper away day since Copenhagen a month before the first lock down. It’s another step back to normality for many who looked forward to following their club abroad.

Celtic have also been given a sizeable amount of away tickets for the Livingston game next weekend – so the travelling Celts are well and truly back!
