We now await news on whether our Champions League game on Wednesday will go ahead as planned. Celtic take on Shakhtar in Matchday two of the competition. Usually, there is a two week break between Champions League games, but due to the World Cup being played in the winter, fixture congestion is already huge.
Many people will point to Shakhtar and there ability to play the fixture despite there country being ravaged by war as reason why the game should go ahead.
The Ukrainian side are playing their home games in Poland as a result of the ongoing conflict.
